Deairing Water System is used to remove dissolved air from water, particularly when it will be used for important geotechnical tests which includes triaxial and permeability tests among others.
The Working of the Deairing Water System
The operation is straightforward. It is used by placing it on a bench and opening the inlet valve that fills the de-airing tank with water in the Deairing Water System. As soon as the vacuum pump comes live, pressure is applied on the tank while the magnetic system mixes water at a high rate of 1000 to 2000 RPM. .
This rapid agitation creates cavitation where de-aeration process is much faster when compared to vacuum method alone. At the end of each cycle, the air pressure drops back to normal and this makes water ready for use in hydraulic circuits and pressure system without the need to use gravity feeding methods.
High Productivity and Compact Design
In this kind of innovative Deairing Water System design, one can produce de-aired water in as short as 15 minutes and produces 20 liters of it. This makes it possible for the machine to sit on a bench without an external water tankthus; it has a small footprint that is suitable for a laboratory.
