The Hydrometer Test Set is a vital tool for particle size analysis - hydrometer method, specifically tailored to determine the particle size distribution of fine materials like silt and clay. This comprehensive hydrometer test set includes a 50 L hydrometer bath, a circulating unit, and a heater that maintains temperatures from ambient to 35°C.
The hydrometer test set can utilize either the 151H or 152H hydrometer, offering versatility for requirements. Additionally, the included soil dispersion mixers feature baffle rods, a dispersion cup, and an automatic switch-on mechanism, ensuring efficient operation with only 100 W power consumption.
The Hydrometer Test Set is supplied with:
- Hydrometer jar, 1000 ml capacity (6 pieces provided with the kit)
- Beaker, Pyrex, 250 ml capacity
- Sodium Hexametaphosphate
- High speed stirrer
