Flexure devices for prisms

Flexure devices are essential equipment for determining the bending strength and flexural properties of prism-shaped samples, such as those used in cement, mortar, and concrete testing. These specific devices offer a consistent means of putting a controlled load to the prism specimen and monitoring its reaction.

Flexure devices may handle a wide range of prism sizes, including the conventional measurements of 40x40x160mm. The devices have an upper bearing seat with a ball assembly and a bottom bearing with a spherical seat, resulting in uniform load distribution across the prism. The distance between the lower bearers can be modified to suit the test procedure.

Cadmium plating is used on the flexure devices to increase their endurance and corrosion resistance. They have a strong, sturdy four-column structure that can support a variety of test rigs and accessories. The huge test chamber is shielded with transparent polycarbonate to ensure operator safety during testing.

These flexure devices are easily integrated into larger cement and mortar testing systems, such as combination compression/flexural testing equipment. The devices are compatible with advanced digital control and measurement electronics. This allows for completely automated test processes, precise force and displacement control, and thorough data collecting and analysis.
