Length Comparators are used to measure the length differences between different types of hardened mortar and concrete prisms of varying sizes.

The Length Comparator allows for precise measurement of length variations in 10in (254mm) cement, mortar, and concrete specimens and incorporates an Invar Reference Bar for dial or digital indication zeroing. Stationary and moveable anvils fit Gauge. Studs cast into test specimens.

Comparators for 10" (254mm) or 16" (406mm) effective length samples, with a digital indication with a range of.600" and resolution of.0001". Measures in both inches and millimeters. The unit can be zeroed at any point along the range and switched from inches to millimetres by pressing a button. Both stationary and moveable, are designed to fit gauge studs cast on test specimens, as well as an Invar reference bar.

The unit can hold test specimens up to 4" x 4" (102 x 102mm) in cross section.
