The Le Chatelier Water Bath is used with Le Chatelier moulds to test the soundness of cement paste, fly ash for concrete, and lime. Le Chatelier Water Bath in stainless steel holds up to 12 moulds that are kept at a height of around 50 mm above the water level.

A mechanism situated beneath the lid prevents condensation from falling on the specimens. The bath reaches boiling point in about 30 minutes. Now, an original method preserves the bath temperature at boiling point by preventing water evaporation and ensuring that Le Chatelier moulds remain submerged in water throughout the test.

The internal chamber and insulated outside case of the bath are made of stainless steel.
