The Laboratory Cement Autoclave is suited to conduct accelerated soundness tests on cement or the Autoclave Expansion Test. This approach assists producers in assessing the quality, strength, and consistency of the various chemical compositions of cement specimens. Cement Autoclave is an accelerated method for measuring delayed expansion of Portland cement induced by the hydration of calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, or both.

Heating occurs through two barriers. The control boards feature a pressure device with controller, a thermostat, and on/off switches for moderate settings. The autoclave is secured with a security tap. The autoclave is intended to endure pressures ranging from 60 to 350 psi (0.4 to 2.4 MPa) and includes a steam vessel, pressure regulator, pressure gauge (0 to 600 psi), air vent valve, power switches, and a safety pop valve set at 350 psi.

Autoclave for soundness constructs the chambers with stainless steel and employs best-in-class test bar holders, racks, pressure regulators, and electricity. The autoclave for soundness test comprises of a stainless steel pressure vessel with an insulated exterior shell made of high-quality stainless steel sheet. The pressure inside the vessel is regulated by a microprocessor-based PID controller.

The autoclave includes a spring-loaded safety valve pressure gauge, a PID controller with an RTD for temperature control, and a heater unit.
