Cylinder Neoprene pads are an accurate, efficient, and cost-effective alternative to sulfur capping for compressive strength tests on concrete cylinders. Cylinder Neoprene pads are available in singles or packs of 12 (only for 4 and 6in), with diameters of 6in, 4in, 3in, and 2in. Choose a durometer rating that corresponds to the concrete sample' design strength. Cylinder neoprene pads enhance the functionality of the cylinder capping retainer by providing added stability and protection during sealing operations.
Cylinder Neoprene pads flow during compression, filling defects in the cylinder ends and ensuring load distribution. Pads are affordable and can be reused for up to 100 tests. 6 inch pads match the most recent ASTM C1231 and AASHTO T22 standards.
